My name is Marie Cleaves-Faucher. i am currently a senior at Coginchaug Regional High School in Durham, CT. For the second semester of the 2003-2004 school year i have chosen to get involved in an independent study program called WISE. This program allows students to explore an area of interest to them, work with a mentor to acheive a goal, and present what they have accomplished to a group of evaluators to recieve a pass or fail grade. I am very interested in art and painting, and I have chosen to find handbags, purses, etc., and paint them with various works of art and my own creations, and sell them.
